Terms & conditions. 

 

 

By making a booking with Fishing London, it is on the understanding that you agree to our terms conditions. 

 

Bookings 

When a booking is made it is on the understanding that you have fully read and accepted our terms and conditions of business. All bookings will be confirmed via email. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible paying adult/guardian. It is a clear booking condition that you fully accept the hazards involved in the fishing environment and your engagement with potentially dangerous activities.

 

Cancellations 

We fish in all weathers except torrential rain and or thunder and lightening. If Fishing London makes the decision to cancel a coaching or guiding session due to extreme weather conditions beyond their control, for example very high winds making casting dangerous, or water conditions/levels on rivers in spate, or for any other reason, then a refund minus costings will be given or an alternative date offered, whichever is acceptable to the client. All our fishing guides are self employed and rely on this as their main source of income. Upon booking your day the guide cannot accept any further work opportunities on that day, therefore cancelling your date seriously limits their chance of earning money on that day. If a client wishes to cancel a booking a minimum of 28 days notice must be given in writing i.e email. If less than fourteen days notice is given then only an alternate date will be offered. If less than 7 days notice no alternative will be offered.  Any rearranged bookings after a cancellation must take place within a twelve-month period. A 12-month extension of a voucher or cancellation may be bought for 50% the face value. If fishing permits, catering or any other arrangements have been made for a client’s booking, which has resulted in costs to Fishing London which cannot be recovered from any third party supplier and that booking is cancelled for any reason, those costs will still be chargeable and will be recovered from the client. If conditions are unsuitable on the river we will do our best to reschedule alternative fishing on the day. This may incur an extra permit costs. Credit vouchers may be given rather than monetary refunds.

Refunds

We can refund any purchase within 14 days of sale, unless your booked session falls within this window. All vouchers and tickets are non refundable after 14 days. However, they are all valid for 12 months from the point of sale and can be transferred to other persons. Any package can be changed or upgraded. Credit vouchers will be given rather than monetary refunds. 

 

Liability 

Fishing London cannot be held liable for any conditions out of our reasonable control.

When a refund is given due to cancellation by Fishing London, the liability will only extend to the value of the coaching or guiding session that has been cancelled and not to any additional costs incurred by the client. The information on this website is reviewed and kept up to date on a regular basis, however, some changes may occur. No liability can be accepted for any errors, omissions or deletions. Fishing London, staff or any contractor working in conjunction with us shall not be liable for any illness, personal injury or death caused out with our control or by not adhering or listening to clear safety briefings and procedures. However, this does not apply to any negligence on the behalf of Fishing London.

 

Health & Safety 

Your safety and that of all other members of the party is always our primary concern.

If a client does not adhere to the safety instructions given or fails to wear safety equipment provided and puts themselves or others at risk they will be asked to leave the session. The contract will be terminated and no refund will be applicable in these circumstances.

 

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are refundable up to 28 days after purchase incurring a 50% administration fee and any non-refundable costs i.e fishing permits. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the day of purchase. Gift vouchers may be swapped for other packages for free, upgraded by paying the difference in price or extended for 12 months for 50% of the face value, (must be extended before the expiry date and will extend from to 24 months from the original expiry date. Fishing London is not liable for gift voucher/vouchers resold through any third party.

 

Duty of Care and safety

All customers will be given a full health and safety briefing at the start of each session as part of our duty of care, if you do not understand any aspect then please, you must, ask us to repeat it. Customers MUST highlight any pre-existing medical condition and if need be discuss any medication that may be required in case of an emergency.  Customers may be asked to complete a liability release form if a condition is present. Failure to not declare a pre-existing medical condition will be considered negligent and we will not take responsibility should an incident arise.

 

Photography

All photography is property and copyright of Fishing London Ltd. Any of our images displayed online must be credited to Fishing London. Images may not be sold on to any third party for hire or for publication. Fishing London reserve the right to use and display all photography across all our marketing and social media platforms. If you do not wish to have images of yourself or any other Fishing London guest then we would ask this to be mentioned upon booking otherwise these terms apply.

 

Insurance

Fishing London recommends all guests ensure they have travel insurance including baggage loss, damage, personal possession loss and damage. All clients must ensure they are covered by appropriate insurances for the duration of their stay and the activities are undertaken. Insurances must cover cancellations and curtailments, medical & emergency expenses (including repatriation), flight cancellations, personal accidents, injuries and death.
